The end of the world itself can be many different things to many different people. Although I do believe that it will come very soon. This could be a monetary collapse, polar shifts, 12-12-12, alien’s invasion, and many other things not mentioned. I am writing today for the reason of encouraging others that believe in something to at least prepare for it. People are time and time ending up in a rut because unforeseen things happen they didn't prepare for. These things can include losing a job, coming down with medical condition, not preparing for a child, and my point is people who prepare for things before they happen have a better chance to make it through what does happen. So here we go back to preparing for whatever end of the world circumstance may or may not happen.

1. Back Pack

To hold most of your contents; all of your contents would be even better

2. 2400+ Calorie Food Bars

To supply nutrition to yourself when you run out of actual food

3. Solar Blanket

To keep warm

4. Pouches of Water

To keep hydrated

5. Dust Masks

Help prevent disease, radiation, whatever needs to not be inhaled

6. Flash Light & Assortment of Batteries

To see in the dark, possibly be used to alert someone of your location. The batteries will serve many different purposes along the way.

7. 1-4 Person Tent

Keep safe from unwanted quests and shelter from rain, UV rays, and ex

8. 500ft 7 Strand Para-cord

Comes in handy for many different things including, climbing, catching food, making things, ex

9. 12hr Light Stick

Way to again signal for help, also be used to see

10. First Aid Kit

The bigger the better; you never know what is going to possibly happen to you, to think no harm will come our way is ignorant.

11. Water Purification Tablets & Rain Barrel

No water is good for drinking, not even tap water these days so please stock up on these tablets to make it as healthy as possible. Use these to sterilize rain water caught in your rain barrel.

12. Water proof Matches or wooden/magnesium fire starter

13. Pocket Knife

Again, the bigger the better; you never know what tool you may need down the line.

14. 5-1 / 7-1 Whistle

Serves many different purposes just get you one just in case

15. AM/FM/Shortwave band radio

Could possibly find a survival group, figure out what is going on as much as possible.

16. Small Camper Stove

Small, portable, and great to have for cooking, making medicine, sterilizing things, ex

17. Chemical Resistant Gloves

Come in useful in case of radiation, and many other things.

18. Assortment of Seeds

To grow and eat if conditions are right these may keep you alive for years

19. Compass

So you can find your way when the time comes.

20. Tarp

You can use this for a million different purposes just be creative.

21. Small light weight mess kit

For cooking and eating.

22. Multiple ponchos

Useful while on the go and protective against many things.

23. Any Small Medicine

This is an opinion, but I see these coming in very handy for many different things, not only could you use it as a form of currency, many people need medicine even to simple aspirin will be much needed in the times of stress.

24. Man’s Best Friend

Get yourself a companion especially if you are alone. Protectors and fighters they will come in very handy also great for holding extras.

If you have most or all of these items you will have an amazing head start. Many folks will always think that everything they do not understand is a joke. Preparing for 2012 is so easy and I still bet not that many people prepare. So many people still think that 9/11 was caused by terrorists and not our own government. I mean for goodness sake there was no evidence on not one video camera in or around the pentagon of a plane hitting it, no jet fuel on the ground around the wreckage, no plane parts found anywhere near the pentagon, and even the size of hole that was actually found in the pentagon wall before it collapsed. Something will happen eventually that no one seen coming. Either because we were never informed or we had been blind and brainwashed of to be leaving the opposite. Besides all of these objects above I would highly recommend finding a survival group near you and a few further out in case of things unexpected. (Tsunamis, volcanoes, ex) These groups will not only help you stay alive and prepare for 2012 survival but many groups have dedicated members that have been stocking up for years for the "just in case" moments. Many groups actually have underground bunkers, underground gardens, and many things that you would not even think of doing a head of time yourself.
